Espectante – A blossoming amateur dressage talent

As of September 2023: At the age of 7, Espectante has developed wonderfully. During the corona pandemic, we had him gelded, which led to a calmer disposition. He has now mastered elementary level dressage and is carefully approaching medium level dressage. He is super well-behaved in the field and looks forward to a fluffy canter 😉

As of October 2020: Our young star has matured and gained valuable competition experience, achieving outstanding results of over 70%.

Espectante embodies everything an amateur dressage rider could wish for: big-framed elegance, excellent basic gaits and a character made for dressage. His movements are elastic and his commitment and willingness to learn are impressive. But of course our Espectante also likes to go for a ride in the field and really let off steam. He is an all-round joy to ride. At just 3.5 years old, he has already reached an impressive height of 1.69 m, but there is still potential for growth.

His pedigree is just as impressive as his character. His sire, Fer Rey, a direct descendant of the Calificado stallion Mañoso II, is known for passing on his rideability and willingness to work. This heritage is clearly visible in Espectante, complemented by an extra measure of energy.

He is a true gentleman not only in the arena, but also in his daily dealings. Whether loading, at the farrier or at the vet – he always behaves in an exemplary manner. And of course he is up to date with his health care, from regular osteopathic treatments to the necessary vaccinations.
