Horses are our passion – small by choice
Since 2016, we – Fred and Daniela Büschel – have run Es Ravellà d’es Cavalls near Manacor, Mallorca. We breed and train Pura Raza Española horses (PRE, known in English as Andalusians) and warmbloods – following classical riding principles, at the pace each horse sets for itself. Quality over quantity.

Our Team
Fred Büschel
As managing director, Fred looks after purchasing, organisation and staff. Despite his thalidomide disability, he spent many years in the saddle himself.
Today his heart belongs to breeding: he is out on the paddocks every day, caring for our foals with great devotion.
Daniela Büschel
I grew up with Icelandic horses, found my way to dressage through warmbloods, and have now had horses in my life for 50 years. I know from experience how much depends on horse and rider being the right match. That’s why I don’t sell horses to just anyone: I want you to truly get to know your horse first.
I’m your first point of contact for everything about our horses. I also coach riders – online and here on the finca.
Ignasi Maria Nicolau
Ignasi starts our young horses, develops their training and presents them at shows – most recently with vice-championship titles on Mallorca and in the Balearics.
