Update September 2022:
We had to have Borboton stalled during the coronavirus pandemic, but it’s actually better for him, less stressful, and he’s enjoying his life as a gelding. Borboton is now for sale as a high-quality leisure partner. He loves going out into the countryside, yet he’s trained up to I level.
Borboton was born in May 2011 in Manacor, Mallorca, with his breeder Francisco Munoz. Both his sire, Fer Tempranillo, and his grandsire, Mañoso II, both Calificado stallions, are by Orfebre, Goron II, by Yeguada Militar. His dam, Soraya, is by the well-known Yeguada Salvatell and is by Regidor XXI.
Borboton is a very expressive representative of his breed!
He was in demand as a stud stallion throughout Spain from a very young age – he already has 5-year-old offspring. The Fer Tempranillo/Manoso II/Ofebre line of the Yeguada Military is considered a good riding horse line. His semen is in high demand here on the island as well as on the mainland, as his offspring are very promising. Borboton now has 18 registered offspring, and more will be added this year.
Although he was broken in at a young age, he only began his training as a riding horse with us at the age of 6. He is an extremely docile horse and is making good progress in his training. Even when he is at stud, he is fully committed in the riding arena and always wants to do everything right. His beautiful, very ground-covering gaits and his very expressive head make him a real eye-catcher. His stately height of 1.72 m is in high demand among Spanish breeders. Borbo is fully aware of his beauty and shows it. With proper handling, he is very easy to handle. Loading and driving are no problem.
Farrier, dentist, and veterinarian are no problem. Of course, he is regularly vaccinated and dewormed. Borboton is free of piroplasmosis.
